I have worked as a translator and news writer for over 18 years at a media company in Spain, which covered radio, television and a weekly newspaper. The job also included proofreading both in Spanish and English. My language pair is English-Spanish.

I am from Spain but have spent several years in Central America, which has given me the opportunity to become quite familiar with the Spanish used on this side of the world.

I have worked as a TELF English teacher in Nicaragua, where I also participated in an educational voluntary programme. I occasionally teach Spanish to English speaking residents and visitors using the techniques I learnt at my TEFL course (Teaching English as a Foreign Language.

I am also working as a freelance translator, especially for online projects, and have also worked as interpreter for foreign visitors and workers in Nicaragua. I have also taken care of some proofreading online jobs.

​Production of Television programs in English for the English speaking community in Málaga, south coast of Spain. My job included writing and translating news items (English-Spanish), production of interviews of local personalities and events as well as presenting the program, which was broadcast daily.
I also wrote news for the local newspaper Mijas Semanal, both translating and proofreading news both in Spanish and English. The newspaper is published in both Spanish and English.
From 1995 to 2010 I also presented a radio program in Spanish for the same company.
